As an adult volunteer for Girl scouts, and as an entertainer for camping resorts I have told stories around Camp fires since 1986.
At this forum we will share stories, Techniques and tips that can be used in an out of doors setting.

Stay hydrated
Night air is harder on your voice and you may strain more to be heard. If you are not use to a backseat theater diaphram Projection you will be hoarse the next day.
Smoke may dry you out too avoid it if you can.
Smoke
Sometimes a little smoke is good it keeps the bugs away
Smoke always follows the greenhorn who complians the loudest and is in their face. So be sure to face the greenhorn to avoid the smoke. If they move you move.
Wind up wind down
Your program should imitate the flames. Bright load , bold with heat early on to get folks warm and motivated and then calm embers and mild toward end of show your low voice will draw an end to the campfire expierence that will be remebered.
