MOOSE members here is our time to share Maine with others! It is also the time you can attend a Sharing the Fire Storytelling Conference. For years some of us have gone to Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and New York we return excited and fired up about our art form. Many can't travel so this year is your chance to see what we all have been talking about! Return here often to scroll down and see what Maine Storytellers plan on doing in April .(MEAL with a MOOSE, Flash Storytelling Mob, Day trips for families to name a few)
Out of State Storytellers, Enthusiasts and friends of Storytellers
You won’t want to miss this destination conference!
If you have never visited the beautiful state of Maine, this is your opportunity to experience the beauty of Maine and attend a storytelling conference at the same time. Bring your families and friends - we have some sightseeing tours and special activities for friends and family members who are not attending the conference.
The best value can be found in registering for the Full Weekend: your choice from 5 intensives, 15 workshops, 3 coaching sessions, a story slam, story swaps, and an Olio concert. If you’re coming for a single day, your registration gives you access to the workshops for the day and that evening’s events. Full time Students (up to age 24) receive a discount on registration. Conference attendees under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or temporary guardian.
This Conference continues to provide an inviting and supporting atmosphere where both seasoned veterans and beginning storytellers and their audiences may share the warmth provided by a great tale being told. Whether the story is told at a swap, featured performance or over a cup of coffee in some obscure corner this is not your average Storytelling Conference.
